Please join us in welcoming Katka Blacka as our newest Reservations Coordinator here at Canadian Rockies Hiking by Yamnuska.
Originally from the Czech Republic, Katka first fell in love with the mountains in Ischgl (Austria) where she spent two winter seasons working at the office of a local ski school and one summer season enjoying lots of hikes in the beautiful Paznaun Valley. Among her favourite hikes in Austria are the Hoher Riffler or the 90km Berliner Hohenweg. Katka enjoys climbing, slackline, traveling and hiking. She recently walked the famous pilgrimage St James Way from Portugal to the Spanish Santiago de Compostela. While working at Yamnuska Katka hopes to learn as much as possible about climbing and reach some beautiful peaks of the Canadian Rockies.
