We are writing today to provide information regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and how we are managing the situation here at Yamnuska Mountain Adventures. The situation is evolving rapidly, and we continue to adjust as the need arises.
As a valued Yamnuska guest, your safety has always been and remains our number one priority. Staff and guest health are constant considerations throughout all our operations, and we are closely monitoring the situation.
Currently, the Public Health Agency of Canada assesses the public health risk associated with coronavirus as low for both Alberta and within Canada. For more information you can visit the following sites:

As such, we continue to successfully run safe and high-quality programs.
We encourage everyone to adopt proper hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette, such as covering your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze. The best way to protect yourself and others is through frequent handwashing. Where soap and water are out of reach in the backcountry, we continue to provide hand sanitizer for programs. You work closely with your guide in the field and depending on the program and environment each protocol can also be adjusted by the guide and client as the situation warrants.
Should you have any questions or concerns, we encourage you to contact us directly.
Thanks, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
